Didn't you get the memo? It's been out eight years. Ever since 2000 we have been hearing that "dissent is patriotic". Li[b]erals are now "the man". Meet the new patriots.

I think I'm going to have to use that sometime.

The iPod Nano keeps getting uglier with each generation.

I was just looking through my list of users that I was following, and noticed many of the "tech elite", if you will, aren't using Rejaw anymore. It's a shame, too. This is a much better system than the other sites they've all gone back to using.

So, while playing Call of Duty 4 last night, my computer started beeping. When I investigated the cause, I was alarmed to find that my graphics card was overheating. Scary! Fortunately, it's a cheap card, on a PC I won't be using again for some time. Still, it's not fun to watch hardware start to fail - well, unless one is rich, or the hardware belongs to someone else.

I don't like it that my iPod's screen displays the battery information while charging (and worse, leaves the backlight on when docking), because I worry that it's cutting into the life of the screen. I think I may just be ignorant of how LCD technology works, but in my experience, leaving something on does have a tendency to make it last a shorter amount of time.

Is the man I know as Barack Obama the same man to which everyone else keeps referring? I don't see a worthwhile candidate, but everyone else seems enamored with the guy. I'd rather not vote at all than vote for that man. "Different" does not mean "better", and it's especially true with Obama.

One has to wonder at times if the good outweighs the bad in blog comments.
